In order to value life and harmonize the relationship with the community surrounding the roads that connect the Monte Serrat mine to the port, Imetame installed a complete series of road signs and traffic signals, such as raised pavement markers, rumble strips, and illuminated traffic signs, with the aim of alerting drivers traveling along the stretch. 

On the route between the mine to the ES-257 highway, and at the intersections that give access to the highways, a section in which the trucks transporting rocks travel, and which is also already used by heavy vehicles of other companies as well as medium and light vehicles of local residents, these signs ensure the appropriate directing of traffic.
